Based on the island of Bali, at the crossroads of Southeast Asian tattoo traditions and contemporary tattoo culture, Club Bagarre brings different generations, techniques and influences together under one roof.
From traditional practices rooted in the region to contemporary tattooing shaped across Asia, Europe, and the United States, the studio is a place for thoughtful work, cultural exchange and tattoos made to last.

02The styles
Seven styles. One standard.
Tribal
Bold, symbolic forms rooted in centuries of ritual and identity. Geometric patterns and totemic imagery built for the body, with linework that holds its shape and impact for a lifetime.
Fine Line
Delicate, single-needle work built from thin lines, soft shading, and quiet detail. Made for pieces that whisper instead of shout: small scripts, botanicals, minimalist portraits. Precision matters more than size here.
Traditional
Bold outlines, solid colour, and designs built to heal clean and stay legible for life. Flash-sheet classics or a fresh idea worked in the same spirit, nothing overworked, nothing that fades into mush over time. It's the style tattooing was built on.
Ornamental
Pattern-driven work built from repetition, symmetry, and flow. Lace, filigree, and architectural detail translated onto skin, wrapping a limb or framing a piece with real precision. It reads as decoration first, and holds up as fine art every time.
Blackwork
Solid, saturated black used as both line and shadow. Bold graphic shapes and heavy fill built for strong contrast that reads clean from across the room and stays sharp for decades. No colour needed when the composition already does the work.
Borneo Hand-Tap
The traditional technique of the island of Borneo, done without a machine: a needle fixed to a wooden stick, tapped by hand with a second stick. It's slower, it's louder, and it keeps the piece connected to where the craft actually comes from.
Japanese
Classic motifs, dragons, koi, waves, and florals, composed with the flow and balance the style demands. Built for scale, sleeves, backs, and full-body work that carries a story across the whole canvas.
03The room
An industrial loft, golden by afternoon
Raw wood, rattan and ethnic textiles under exposed black steel, and late light pouring through the arched windows. Sink into the couches, have a coffee, watch the work happen. It's a studio first, and also a room for exhibitions, film screenings and THE ND PROJECT podcast.
